about
me
I am Špela Golobič, violoncellist and Ph.D. in music pedagogy. I studied cello at the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia and I spent school year 2002/2003 in Lahti in Finland, where I was Erasmus exchange student. My expertise gained through a doctoral dissertation on “The impact of artistic programs of Slovenian principal musical foundations on cultural development and orientation of the school population”, is in ability to create new audiences among young people.
In 2019 I founded the institute Muzikator and started to organize creative music workshops for Slovene primary and secondary schools. Workshops are designed to enrich musical education of the school population taking into account the curriculum in primary and high schools.
In 2020 I developed Online course for Music teachers. In that course I teach teachers in primary and music schools how to use digital technology for creating music and creative projects with students.
